How does the event work?

Only ticket holders are allowed onto the Alley during the event. Tickets can be purchased for one of two time slots. Once you enter the event you can take your time and see the houses at your leisure.

Do I have to see the houses in a particular order?

Not at all! Once you enter the Alley you can visit them in whatever order you want.

Can I buy tickets in-person at the event?

Yes, you can. You can pay cash at the entrance or use a credit card. 

Is there parking?

There are several parking lots in the area, and some street parking is available, though very limited. See our Event Parking and Transportation Guide for more details.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes! We will have complimentary cookies and hot cider and a cash bar, featuring our NEW Elfreth’s Alley wine mugs that will also secure you deals off drinks in the neighborhood during Holiday Sip ‘N Stroll.

Will there be activities for kids?

Yes! We will have an activities table for kids and a visit from Santa Claus as well!

What entertainment will be featured?

We will have costumed performers and carolers strolling through the Alley and weaving and sewing demonstrations in the Museum House.
