Join us for First Friday at Elfreth’s Alley where we’ll be discussing Benjamin Franklin’s work mapping the Gulf Stream and other ocean exploration he conducted on his numerous passings of the Atlantic. Many seafarers stayed on Elfreth’s Alley in the 1700s and 1800s including ship captains and first officers. Hosted by Elfreth’s Alley Association Board Vice President, Susan Poulton, who currently supports deep ocean exploration from her home on the Alley, you’ll learn about ancient and modern ocean exploration tools!
